As time passes by, we have seen glorious flowers in spring and solid fruits in autumn. Today, we are here to report the "two-year examination paper" of "Healthy Lishui" at the conference.

Two years ago, we constructed the dream and embarked on the journey. Thanks to the great kindness of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), the trust and support of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, Jiangsu Provincial Government, Jiangsu Provincial Political Consultative Conference, Lishui takes the initiative and becomes the only Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang’s health and wellness industry practice base in Yangtze River Delta, and the only "Healthy Jiangsu" practice demonstration zone in Jiangsu Province. Building an example of "Health China" is a great matter showing the highlighted support of Lishui from the Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Nanjing Municipal Government for two consecutive years. In the past two years, we have been running to chase the dream, bearing President Xi Jinping's earnest teachings in mind, centering on the positioning of "Healthy Lishui, Vigorous New District" entrusted to us by the Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and Jiangsu Provincial Government, creating greater opportunities while grasping opportunities, displaying greater responsibility while shouldering responsibility, turning the impossible into the possible, and making health the most distinct quality of Lishui!

The Qinhuai River is the mother river of Nanjing. As the source of the Qinhuai River, Lishui is fresh every day.

Who could have thought Jiangsu Rehabilitation Hospital, the hospital with the largest scale in the world, Nanjing Nursing Home, the first-rate nursing home in China, national ice and snow extreme sports training base, the first to reach Olympic requirements, and others keep settling in the once-obscure Lishui.

Who could have thought the People's Hospital of Lishui District, and Nanjing Lishui District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine are graded tertiary hospitals in only two years. It is a rare case that two tertiary hospitals are located in the same district in Jiangsu Province. At the same time, Lishui public hospitals went through reforms and ranked the first for three years in a row and received public compliments from Jiangsu Provincial Government.

Who could have thought a series of major international and national events such as the Global Intelligent Mobility Conference, National New Farmers and New Business Entrepreneurship and Innovation Convention, and the 10th Conference Meeting of BRICKS Ministers of Agriculture and Agrarian Development were hosted in Lishui.

Who could have thought Jiangsu Baima Agriculture International Expo Center was built in 5 months, the national extreme sports arena with the largest single building area in China was built in 11 months, and the trillion-dollar industry projects were signed in the same year as they were put into production.

Who could have thought once the "Healthy Lishui" strategy was initiated, everything would fall into place. For the last two years, Lishui has been made several national demonstration zones such as the national ecology civilization construction demonstration zone, national airport economy demonstration zone, national agriculture high-tech demonstration zone, and national urban and rural development integration demonstration zone. In 2019, Lishui was awarded as the high-quality development advanced district in Jiangsu Province for the first time, and thus, becoming the first-rate student of comprehensive development.

Especially when we face the COVID-19 crisis that rarely occurs even in a century, we act boldly and proactively, remain sensitive to changes, respond to them with well-judged actions, and are ready to adjust the approach when necessary. Our main economic indicators keep growing and rank top in China. The first-rate projects, public compliments, Lishui speediness, extreme challenges, demonstration zones all embody the accomplishments and vigor of high-quality development of Lishui.

The tipping of hour hands represents marching horns. In over 700 days and nights, freeing minds, aligning with standards to locate weakness, getting innovative and doing practical work has always been Lishui's methods and approaches to be the best; prioritizing development and work, and seizing every second have been what Party members and officials at different levels pursue in work. We are committed to shouldering the lofty mission and great responsibility of the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang’s health and wellness industry practice and "Healthy Jiangsu" practice demonstration. We will turn stress into motivation, motivation into vigor and strive to develop exploratory, innovative and pioneering Healthy Jiangsu.

There are no set examples of top-level design, so we will act first as we try. We study and put into practice Healthy China 2030, grasp rules, plan systematically, hire Tsinghua to formulate and publish the first health outline development plan on national district and county levels, and construct creatively a comprehensive evaluation system covering 60 major indicators. So far, 21 indicators have reached provincial standards, which is ten years in advance.

Since there is not a set example for building a healthy city, we move forward as we explore the way. We deeply put into practice the concept of “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets” and open up a healthy way of coordinated development of "production, life and ecology." We are the first in Jiangsu Province to basically achieve Grade III Waters in the full district, construct a healthy environment system of a three-minute walk to the community greens, a five-minute walk to healthy greenways, and a ten-minute walk to city parks. We have become a district free from conventional paths and traditional industry burden, which is quite rare in China. Our green development ranks the 18th in the list of the 100 strong national districts.

When there is no health career path to be copied, we make innovations and reforms. We cohere to the development is for the people, act first to explore county medical community construction, so the people in the neighborhood can have safe, accessible, systematic and continuing health service. In just two years, the grassroots initial diagnosis rate increases by almost 20%, the number that every ten thousand persons with general practitioner increases by 1.62 times, and urban and rural citizens' health cultivation level increases 13%. Healthy Lishui lights up the people's healthy dream!

Since the health industry lacks full support, we will give our all. We are fully focused on working for greater causes, spare no effort in attracting investment, leave no regrets in green development, act boldly and proactively, stay in the state of "Five No", implement the "Breakthrough in attracting investment" requirements by Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, and set up the principle of "Project is the priority". We have introduced a number of major provincial projects, landmark projects with over 3 billion yuan in a single investment, such as green China health preservation demonstration zone of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tian'an health industry park, Baoneng international health technology city, overseas Chinese town. Lishui, at the moment, is marching towards one hundred billion health industry landmarks.

A browse of "two-year examination paper" comes down to the fundamental guidelines of new thoughts, so we keep writing vivid practice of how the Healthy China strategy is implemented in Jiangsu. A browse of "two-year examination paper" makes us realize we have done a lot that would require a longer time, others never do before and we wouldn't dream of in the past. All the past is prologue. The convention we are having happens to be the first day of our two-year anniversary. So it stands for a new journey and starting point.

We will always bear in mind President Xi Jinping’s saying, "Explore new ways of development for the whole country is what the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China always asks for Jiangsu." We will not let down the Revolutionary Committee of the Chinese Kuomintang (RCCK), Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Nanjing Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China, implement new development, focus on new development outline, make a demonstration from eight aspects, speed up to construct a full-region six-aspect health system of the health industry, health environment, health service, health tourism, health food, health & safety, build three industry landmarks with hundreds-billion in new energy cars, airport and health, and make an internationally and nationally renowned city in education, exhibits, sports events, and music. We will make healthy Lishui the most beautiful window of "Beautiful Jiangsu" and "Beautiful Ancient Capital."

Leaders and guests, we are aware that the limit of urban development depends on how much Party members and officials are willing to exert themselves. Lishui is named after the river and blossoms because of it. The river nurtures Lishui, a city with thousands of years of history, and its unique quality of running ahead ceaselessly and being persistent. We have tenacity. We are not afraid of high mountains and long waters. We are willing to ride the wind and waves. We pursue, dare to strive for the first, and have the courage to become the one and only. We also have the confidence to build Lishui into a healthy city example in China in a decade. We have dreams. We strive to achieve that it takes a look at Lishui to see what Healthy Jiangsu achieves, and a look at Jiangsu to see what Healthy China achieves.

The strong pass of the enemy is like a wall of iron, yet with firm strides, we are conquering its summit. For the new "two-year examination paper", we will travel on day and night to make new practices and demonstrations!
